Support the Unity Build
We invite congregations to join us in this monumental movement bringing together people from different backgrounds, beliefs and faiths. We believe we are more alike than different and invite all faith congregations to help build affordable homes in Harford and Cecil counties.
During this challenging and unprecedented time, Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna is working together with our community to build homes, hope, and unity. Harford and Cecil counties are home to a diversity of beliefs and opinions, one thing we can all agree on is that local families deserve a decent and affordable place to live.
We have an open-door policy. All who believe that everyone needs a decent, affordable place to live are welcome to help with the work, regardless of race, religion, age, gender, political views or any of the other distinctions that too often divide people. In short, we welcome volunteers and supporters from all backgrounds and serve people in need of decent housing regardless of race or religion.
Our hope is to bring together congregations from a variety of traditions to volunteer side-by-side to help fund and build affordable homes. It will be a time of tolerance, cooperation, and love for one’s neighbor.
Please help by donating today or by following the mail in directions below.
We also invite you to come out and help build beside other faiths and members of the community when our build sites reopen to volunteers.
