We invite congregations to join us in this monumental movement bringing together people from different backgrounds, beliefs and faiths. We are putting aside our differences and working together in unity to help build affordable homes in Harford and Cecil counties.
During this challenging and unprecedented time, Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna is working together with our community to build homes, hope, and unity. Harford and Cecil counties are home to a diversity of beliefs and opinions, one thing we can all agree on is that local, hardworking families deserve a decent and affordable place to live.
Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna has an open-door policy. All who believe that everyone needs a decent, affordable place to live are welcome to help with the work, regardless of race, religion, age, gender, political views or any of the other distinctions that too often divide people. In short, we welcome volunteers and supporters from all backgrounds and serve people in need of decent housing regardless of race or religion.
Our hope is to bring together congregations from a variety of traditions to volunteer side-by-side to help fund and build affordable homes. It will be a time of tolerance, cooperation, and love for one’s neighbor.
Any congregation which donates at least $100 by January 30, 2021, will be invited to bring up to five volunteers to build side-by-side with members of another faith tradition.
If you have any questions, or would like additional information please contact Phyliss Mosca at email@example.com.
