Collegiate Challenge is a year-round alternative break program.

Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna welcomes student groups to spend their spring, summer, or fall breaks volunteering at one of our home build sites! Students make a financial contribution to our affiliate and in return receive a place to stay, some meals, and an unforgettable experience. Spend your break in the beautiful state of Maryland while helping families and neighborhoods in the local community!

Here’s how you participate:

Gather a group of five or more participants.
Everyone must be 16 years of age and older.
Choose our local Habitat and work week from our site lists here.

You will have the chance to:

  • Improve your construction skills.
  • Connect with new people in a new place.
  • Put your faith into action.
  • Make a difference in Habitat for Humanity’s work of eliminating substandard housing.
  • Enjoy local scenery and attractions with your group. (click here for things to do in Harford County or click here  for Cecil County things to do)
