Location: Aberdeen ReStore, 1013 Beards Hill Road, Aberdeen


Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna (HHS) is seeking a Resource Coordinator to work at its Aberdeen ReStore, a nonprofit home improvement store and donation center. This is a full time (40 hour) position working Tuesday through Saturday. Starting salary is negotiable; includes an excellent benefit package.  

The ReStore Resource Development Coordinator will be responsible for formulating a funding strategy which deepens the commitment of existing donors, maximizing the number of supporters overall, and developing opportunities for more to contribute to the Aberdeen ReStore.  This position also includes responsibility to provide community outreach efforts and overall oversight of recruiting volunteers by providing an adequate number of volunteers on a rotating basis to keep operation of the ReStore running smoothly.


  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Six months of warehouse or retail experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds in an office/warehouse environment
  • The ability to be outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
  • Knowledge of furniture, appliances and building materials a plus.
  • Forklift experience and/or certification a plus.
  • Knowledge of Volunteer recruitment, Microsoft Office Applications, computer literacy
  • Ability to coordinate and create schedules
  • Some public speaking, training and leading volunteers necessary

CPR/First Aid training will be provided. Current valid driver’s license, and an ability to meet our driving standards and insurance requirements. Employment is subject to background check and drug screening. Must have clean driving record and submit MVA record for past five years later in the screening process. Volunteer Position


This volunteer position would assist staff in creating new content for ReStore social media platforms(Instagram, Twitter, Facebook). Activities would include spotlighting our new donations and events.
