Construction Volunteers

We build year-round and always need help! We welcome individual volunteers and groups, skilled and unskilled volunteers, regular and periodic volunteers. If you want to make a difference in your community then we have a spot for you!

Here is some general information; check out our Volunteer FAQ’s for more specifics:

1. 1. Build sites are open to individuals and groups on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 8:00 am – 3:00 pm. Start and end times for groups can be adjusted for the group’s availability.
   2. Interested in volunteering on a regular basis? Join our Core Volunteers who help on a more regular basis. Wednesdays are typically reserved for Core Volunteers, but many also volunteer on other days. It’s a great way to form lasting friendships and bonds while making an impact one house at a time.    3. Interested in volunteering with people you know?  Reserve a build day for 4 or more people by contacting mlouderback@habitatsusq.org or 443-895-0036 to select a date and get more information about group builds.
   4. Volunteers on active build sites must be at least 16 years old.

If you are a NEW CONSTRUCTION VOLUNTEER, welcome! Signing up is easy!

1. 1. 1. Create an account and sign a waiver by clicking on this link – Habitat Volunteer Account Form  (If you are under 18, please create an account and then print out and sign the Youth Waiver. Waiver can be given to site supervisor on the build day  or emailed to Michele Louderback at mlouderback@habitatsusq.org.)

      3. After creating an account, click here to register for a build day or days. If volunteering with a group, look for the correct date and click on your group’s name. If you are NOT with a group, you can sign up for any “individual/public build” slot
